Our Story

Eastover Psychiatric Group of the Carolinas was founded with several goals in mind.  We, the clinicians of the original Eastover Psychiatric Group in Charlotte, wanted to bring our services closer to two areas from which our patients frequently traveled to see us -- Lake Norman and Ballantyne.

We also wanted to get back to practicing in the manner in which we were trained -- with longer appointments to allow for additional time to listen to our patients and to counsel them about their conditions and the treatments we recommend.  

To make this way of practicing possible, we have elected to become a direct-pay practice.  This means that we are "out of network" for any insurance plans.
