COVID-19 Summer Telemedicine Update

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group of the Carolinas will continue telemedicine services indefinitely.

Though we will still be here answering the phones and conducting telemedicine visits, the office will not be open for any in-person visits until further notice.

We continue to monitor the situation. We miss seeing you in person and will resume in-person visits when it is appropriate.

For telemedicine visits, we are using doxy.me, a secure and HIPAA-compliant video-conferencing service. There is nothing to sign up for and no account to create. You will receive a text message (or email, if you prefer) at or around your appointment time with a link to your clinician's "virtual waiting room." You can either follow that link to begin on your smartphone, or you can copy that link to the browser on your tablet, laptop, or computer if you prefer. You will be asked to sign in. Then when your clinician is ready, you will be connected.

The most important thing is that we have your correct contact phone number on file. We also recommend that you are connected to wifi, as opposed to a cellular connection. But if the connection is poor, or your camera/mic isn't working, don't worry. We can switch over to an old-fashioned telephone call if we need to.

Stay safe, and check back to this website for more updates.
